On Wednesday, August 10th at around 6:00 pm an injury accident occurred at Oxford and Van Buren. The wreck occurred when a driver on Oxford tried to turn onto Van Buren, they didn’t look but asked their passenger if it was clear to turn. The passenger said it was so the driver attempted to turn onto Van Buren but they instead crashed into another driver.
Next, the 2nd driver’s vehicle spun 90 degrees before going into a slide, hitting the curb of the center median, and then sliding into the grass. After the wreck, the driver of the 2nd vehicle was transported via ambulance to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-incapacitating injuries.
