Driver Arrested Passenger Taken to Hospital After Wrecking Vehicle without a Valid Drivers License

On Wednesday at 8:00 am Enid Police and Enid Fire responded to reports of an accident at 1000 N. 10th St. The wreck occurred after the driver who had a suspended license attempted to make a turn with bald tires from E. Willow onto 10th St.

The car then lost traction and left the roadway before hitting a stop sign with half the car being in a ditch and the other half being on the concrete culvert. A passenger of the vehicle was injured with a laceration to the head.

After being tended to on the ground near the wreck for a few minutes the passenger was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment in an ambulance. The driver was then arrested for driving without a valid license.
