TAYLOR HAWKINS TRIBUTE SET FOR LIVE STREAM

The September 3rd Taylor Hawkins Tribute concert at London's Wembley Stadium will be filmed and streamed live on stream live on Paramount+ and MTV’s YouTube channel, starting at 11:30 a.m. ET.

Rolling Stone reported, "A one-hour primetime special featuring highlights from the show will air on CBS later that day at 10 p.m. ET, while the full show will be available to stream on-demand starting the week of September 5th." (Rolling Stone)

Dave Grohl's Nirvana bandmate, bassist Krist Novoselic, Led Zeppelin's John Paul Jones, Nile Rodgers, Pink, Foo Fighters' producer Greg Kurstin, former Queens Of The Stone Age collaborator Alain Johannes, and 12-year-old drum prodigy Nandi Bushell will all perform at the London concert.

The September 27th Hawkins tribute show at The Forum in L.A. will also include Heart guitarist Nancy Wilson, LeAnn Rimes, Miley Cyrus, and Joan Jett.

DAVE GROHL GETS FUNNY IN L.A.

Dave Grohl was on hand on August 16th for a comedic performance at L.A.'s Largo with Beck, Tenacious D, actor John C. Reilly, and producer Greg Kurstin. Ultimate Classic Rock reported the Foo Fighters leader joined in on the crew's performance of Seals & Croft's classic 1972 hit "Summer Breeze" jumping on stage at every verse to sing the the song's signature guitar riff.

Among the other performers appearing were comedians Pete Holmes and Sarah Silverman, with Tenacious D playing a mini-set that features a take on REO Speedwagon's "Keep On Loving You." Judd Apatow threw the benefit to raise funds "for VictimsFirst, which helps victims of mass shootings, terrorist attacks and other mass-casualty crimes." (Ultimate Classic Rock)
