The results are in for yesterday’s primary election runoff, the question on the ballot for Garfield County voters was rejected. The question was whether or not to approve a sales tax increase to fund the expansion of the Garfield County Jail and it was defeated 62.61% to 37.39%%.
Markwayne Mullin defeated TW Shannon 65.08% to 34.92% in the Republican Runoff for United States Senate. While Madison Horn defeated Jason Bollinger 65.48% to 34.34% in the Democratic primary for United States Senate.
Ryan Walters defeated April Grace in the Republican Primary for Superintendent of Public Instruction 53.4% to 46.6%. Other election results can be found here https://results.okelections.us/OKER/?elecDate=20220823
The general election will be held November 8th.
