In a new video, Death Cab For Cutie’s Ben Gibbard performs a duet with Noah Cyrus. Playing acoustic guitar, he and Cyrus swap lyrics about a relationship going south in a song titled “Ready To Go.”
Gibbard told Rolling Stone… “I kept coming back to it and just basking in her brilliance. It's easy to be mysterious. It’s easy to be aloof. It's easy to be cool. It’s so much harder to be earnest. And it’s so much harder because she’s really opening herself up with a lot of these songs.”
Earlier this month Death Cab For Cutie released “Foxglove Through The Clearcut” as the 3rd single from their Asphalt Meadows album.
The duet he did with Cyrus will appear on her debut album, The Hardest Part.
