The city of Enid put out the following press release.

City of Enid Solid Waste Services officials announced today the transition of green yard waste poly carts to its Fall and Winter schedule. Beginning the week of October 3rd, yard waste will be picked up on the same day as household trash.

As a reminder, place the green poly carts container at least ten feet of clearance from other containers, parked vehicles, street lampposts, trees, mailboxes, and other obstructions at the curb no later than 7:30 a.m. with your household trash.

The City-issued green poly carts are used for yard waste such as leaves, twigs, and grass.  Green yard waste poly cart containers will not be emptied if they contain household trash. Those who wish to obtain a poly cart or an additional poly cart can contact Solid Waste Services at (580) 616-7300.
