The Enid chamber of commerce announced a major increase in taxable sales from July 2021-July to 2022. Sales increased from 70,125,643 in 2021 to 76,784,642 an increase of 9.5%. July was an especially good month for sales in 2022 as the increase in taxable sales for the year so far was only a 0.69% increase.
Taxable sales year to date in 2021 were $515,884,802 while in 2022 they were $519,461,852. The above numbers could be indicators of the Enid economy performing better in 2021 than in 2022 although inflation would also be partially responsible for the increases.
