In the past, when she did on camera work, she didn’t like watching the screen so she never checked to see what she looked like. And then later, would be disappointed in the final product.
All that changed while shooting videos with music veterans. She noticed how they were particular about it and would approve or disapprove throughout the day. In an interview Doja said, “That’s the smartest thing to do!”
