On Friday, November 18th the United Way of Northwest Oklahoma held its annual day of kindness. The Day of Kindness took place in Enid, Kingfisher, and Alva. During the day of kindness, community organizations performed random and planned acts of kindness.

The United Way held a drive for hygiene products for the elderly, and high school students in Kingfisher delivered baked goods while sorority members at NWOSU in Alva placed rocks painted with inspirational quotes throughout campus.

The NWOSU band also did a scavenger hunt where they had members perform different acts of kindness throughout campus.
