City of Enid Approves Deal to Bring in Movie Theatre

After an hour-long executive session at the end of the Mayor and Board of Commissioner’s Regular Meeting that took place Tuesday, December 6th, the board approved a measure that will bring a movie theatre complex to Enid.

Enid News and Eagle reported that it’s a 3.8 million dollar deal, and the city will give a 1.5 million dollar loan to S&K Cinema Holdings Group with 2.3 Million dollars in cash incentives. According to Enid News and Eagle, the theatre will be a nine-screen movie theatre including Imax with duckpin bowling, an arcade, and even virtual reality.
