Enid Man Arrested After 3 Hour Standoff with Police

An Enid man was arrested for armed robbery after a 3-hour standoff with police. The Enid police department announced in a press release that Garland Manning age 34 was taken into custody after being suspected of committing an armed robbery at an Enid bar last weekend.

When police arrived to make an arrest Manning refused to leave a home beginning a 3-hour standoff. The standoff ended when Manning agreed to leave the home. Manning was suspected of the weekend robbery when a man was caught on video brandishing a firearm and stealing cash from a bar.
