On the morning of Tuesday, December 20th the Enid Fire Department put out a smoldering fire in the attic of a house at 2414 Constitution Ave. A PEX pipe in the attic had insulation and heat tape around the pipe.

The fire melted a hole in the pipe and was smoldering in the insulation. Enid’s Fire Department put out the fire by taking a redline to the attic and removing part of the front porch ceiling to extinguish the fire.
