Waukomis Elementary School will complete the move to its new building 2 weeks after yesterday. Originally the plan was to move in over Christmas break, however, Waukomis Public Schools didn’t believe that would give them enough time to complete the move.
Waukomis Superintendent David Brewer said in a Facebook post ” In order to ensure we are ready to begin the semester, I feel we need to move the start date to Monday, January 9th. I hope by notifying now, that everyone has plenty of time to prepare. We are all so excited to have this beautiful building that our community has provided for us. Thank you and may each of you have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! “
