On the morning of January 23rd at around 8:40 am, several train box cars fell over, temporarily blocking traffic at N.16th and Willow. Traffic was unblocked when the locomotive detached itself from the rest of the train and pulled forward.
No injuries have been reported and the cause of the incident is not yet known. BNSF Railway has yet to respond to a request for comment on the cause of the wreck.
