Both Garfield County Sheriff Cory Rink and Major County Sheriff Anthony Robinson have announced that they will not be enforcing a federal gun regulation that bans stabilizing braces for short-barreled rifles.

In a released statement Sheriff Cory Rink quoted the Oklahoma Second Amendment Sanctuary Act saying “it shall be the duty of the courts and law enforcement agencies of this state to protect the rights of law-abiding citizens to keep and to bear arms within the borders of this state and to protect these rights from the infringement provided under the provisions of this act”.

Robinson’s statement said “our office is dedicated to protect and defend the constitutions of both the United States and the state of Oklahoma”.
