Meet Ward 2 Candidate Kyle Hockemeyer

Ward 2 Commissioner Candidate Kyle Hockemeyer spoke with Enidlive.com about his upcoming bid for election. Hockemeyer spoke about why he is running for election saying “currently the biggest struggle business owners are dealing with the majority of them are finding bodies and people to apply for the open position”.

Helping to solve this issue is one of the reasons Hockemeyer is running for office, Hockemeyer went on to say “we’ve got to do better at promoting Enid and the great things about Enid”. Hockemeyer currently serves as the Director of Workforce Development at Autry Technology Center where he meets with business owners and has learned about these issues.

Hockemeyer is a 4th generation Enid resident and a 5th generation Garfield County resident, his father taught school at Enid High School and his mother taught school at Waller Elementary.
