You may have seen police cars from other departments like Bartlesville and Kingfisher County this Tuesday, February 21st, and wondered why they were in Enid. The reason officers from Kingfisher County, Southwestern Oklahoma State University, Crescent, and Bartlesville made their way to Enid was for traffic stop training conducted by the Enid Police Department.

Traffic stop training is a part of the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training or CLEET, Oklahoma police officers are required to complete 25 hours of CLEET training per year. Officers from the previously mentioned department spent time being trained by the Enid Police Department at the Chisholm Trail Expo center parking lot.
