The City of Enid put out the following press release:
Due to a water main break on North 30th Street between East Chestnut and East Ash, the water pressure and volume will be reduced from North 16th Street to 78th Street. The area with the most noticeable change will be as follows:
- East Birch Avenue from 2400 to 2600
- East Ash Avenue from South 26th Street to South 30th Street
- South 30th Street from East Ash Avenue to East Chestnut Avenue
- East Chestnut Avenue from South 30th Street to South 54th Street
- South 54th Street from East Chestnut Avenue to East Owen K. Garriott
- East Owen K. Garriott from South 54th Street to Kremlin Street
- Kremlin Street to Market Avenue
After Market, it will be Crabbs Transportation, Cryogenic, and Koch.
Very little of this area will lose all water. Most will not even tell a difference.
The timeframe for this reduction in water pressure is to be yet to be determined.
