Billie Eilish says she has a tendency to believe what she reads on the internet and that’s why she deleted all social apps from her phone.
In an interview with Conan O’Brien she talked about how the internet has affected her and how she got pro-active about it, and said, “I don’t look at it anymore.”
She explained that when she became famous during adolescence, and lies were being written about her, that’s when it began to have a negative effect.
She admitted that it was “stupid to believe it.” She describe it as “small white lies that goes over everyone’s heads, but everyone believes.”
Even though she took the apps off her phone, she still occasionally shares something. Last week, it was photos of her horseback riding, sunbathing, taking a drive, and just relaxing in general.
