Friday afternoon at around 1:30 pm a 2 vehicle accident occurred at Vanburen and Willow between the driver of a red ford and the driver of a white Chevy. The wreck occurred when the driver of the Chevy who had a green light attempted to turn south from Willow onto Vanburen at the same time the driver of the Ford was driving through the intersection causing the collision.
The Ford driver said he thought he had a yellow before going through the intersection while witnesses said the Chevy driver had a green arrow. No injuries were reported after the wreck.
