Enid’s Board of Education has hired its next principal Emerson Middle School. Annie Heathman the current Longfellow Middle School assistant Principal was hired by the district on Monday night at the Enid Board of Education meeting.
Heathman spoke about getting the job saying “I am very thrilled to accept this position and look forward to working with the Emerson faculty and staff,”. Heathman’s credentials include an associate of arts from Northern Oklahoma College, a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Oklahoma, and a Master of Educational Leadership from Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Candice Wojciechowsky is the current principal at Emerson Middle School and she is retiring at the end of the school year after 22 years in public education. Heathman will start as principal officially on July 1st.
