Friday’s Enid Plainsmen Baseball Game and Start Time Changed

CTB Sports has learned from Head Coach Brad Gore that Friday’s Enid Plainsmen baseball game has been changed. The Plainsmen were originally scheduled to take on Jenks at David Allen Memorial Ballpark at 6PM. However, that will no longer be the case.

Coach Gore has informed us that the Plainsmen will instead take on Yukon this Friday evening. The start time has also been changed and Friday evening’s game will start an hour earlier at 5PM instead of 6PM. The only thing that will remain the same as the original schedule is that the game will take place at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.

Yukon sits at 21-12 on the year and 10-4 in district play. Friday’s contest is not a district matchup for either team. The Millers are coming off of a sweep of Putnam City in district play on Monday and Tuesday. The Plainsmen are 23-7 on the season and 11-2 in district play and are currently winners of 10 in a row. The Plainsmen do have a makeup game with Stillwater scheduled for Thursday so we won’t know if the Plainsmen will be looking for a 12th straight win on Friday until we find out what happens on Thursday.

We have not been told why the game has been changed. Regardless, CTB will be there as we will be on the call as we are the home of Enid Plainsmen Baseball all season long. We’ll have the pregame show at 4:50PM and first pitch at 5PM on CTB Sports 1640/1390AM.
