State Tournament Baseball This Week for the Enid Plainsmen

SHARE NOW

It’s hard to believe, but we’ve made it to the final week of high school baseball in the state of Oklahoma for 2023! It’s been an incredible season and 3 more games stand between classes 2A through 6A and the end of the season. Our attention will most certainly be focused on 6A baseball as the Enid Plainsmen punched their ticket to the state tournament this past week after defeating Jenks in the Regional Championship Friday afternoon 9-3. The Plainsmen move to 27-9 on the year and will set their sights on winning 3 games in 3 days in Tulsa to clinch their first state championship since 1986.

Things will get started Thursday and the Plainsmen won’t have to wait as long as they did last season as they’ll be a part of the first game of the day at Union High School. Many Plainsmen fans remember having the late game last season and because games went so long, things didn’t get going for Enid until SUPER late. This year, Enid will be taking on Westmoore in the 6A Quarterfinals at 11AM. CTB Sports will be there for the call as we’ll have coverage beginning at 10:45AM and will be there the entire way as long as the Plainsmen are still going.

Below is a picture of the bracket and what our broadcast schedule could look like for the 6A State Tournament. You can listen to each game on the radio stations listed below, on the app for each corresponding station, OR you can listen to them online at enidlive.com.
