DALLAS – More than 100 service members including wounded, ill, and hospitalized individuals from the Texas National Guard and Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio are about to come to Dallas for an amazing experience.

The 17th annual Seats for Soldiers event on Jan 29 will treat the service members to a charter flight donated by American Airlines from San Antonio to Dallas, a dinner at Nick and Sam’s Steakhouse followed by courtside seats at the Dallas Mavericks game

The event promises an unforgettable day for the honored service members.

After arriving at DFW Airport, the group will receive a free, three-course dinner at Nick & Sam’s Steakhouse. Then they will head to the American Airlines Center to sit courtside, with seats donated by Dallas Mavericks season ticket holders.

The evening will culminate with the much-anticipated Mavericks vs. Magic game, and a meet-and-greet with players and entertainers.

The visiting soldiers are not the only ones who will take in the game. Club Maverick members were given the opportunity to donate their tickets, which opened up another 400 seats with a combined face value of more than $40,000. Through a collaborative effort with VetTix, the seats are reserved for active duty, veteran/retiree, Gold Star family, and surviving spouse military members.
