Today is National Signing Day! See Where 6 Plainsmen Committed

Today is National Signing Day, and 6 Enid Plainsmen signed their letters of intent for where they will be attending college and continuing their college careers. The ceremony began with opening remarks from Head Football Coach Cameron Condor, followed by remarks from Enid’s High School Principal Craig Liddell, and then Athletic Director Scott Mansfield.

Each player then signed their letters of intent, while Coach Condor spoke about their High School careers. Here is where each player signed.

Mason Benton Wide Receiver: South Western University

Mason Benton came on strong during the middle of the season for the Plainsmen always being a reliable option at the X Receiver position. He proved a tough matchup for linebackers he had a speed advantage against and defensive backs he had a size advantage over.

Brock Sullivan Offensive Line: Missouri Western University

Brock Sullivan was the anchor of a solid offensive line that didn’t give up too many sacks throughout the year.

Brittain Combs Linebacker: Southern Nazarene University

Brittain Combs was a force on the Plainsmen’s defense, when the Plainsmen would get sacks or tackles for losses, Combs was never far away from the action.

Josh Withey Linebacker: Southern Nazarene University

Josh Withey will be joining his fellow linebacker Britain Combs at Southern Nazarene University, the pair were a force together for the Plainsmen and will be great additions to the Southern Nazarene defense.

Cody Stallcup Defensive Back: Culver-Stockton

Cody Stallcup will be moving on to play at the next level, during his career Stallcup made life difficult for opposing Wide Receivers.

Jamison Washington Wide Receiver/Defensive Back: Ottawa University

Washington was described as a “late bloomer” by Coach Condor. Washington came into his own during his senior season when he was a team captain. Washington was a reliable deep threat offensively and a lockdown defensive back for the Plainsmen’s defense.

Good luck to all the Plainsmen in their future college careers!
