Billy Morrison’s new single featuring Ozzy Osbourne, “Crack Cocaine,” has reached No. 1 on Mediabase’s US Active Rock Songs chart. The collaboration is featured on the longtime guitarist for Billy Idol’s new solo record, The Morrison Project, with Morrison being joined by a variety of singers on each track. “Crack Cocaine” has proven to be a big hit on the rock radio chart, placing higher than Pearl Jam’s “Wreckage” and last week’s No. 1 song, “If It Doesn’t Hurt” by Nothing More.

“Both the song and the album have been so well-received — I couldn’t have asked for more,” said Morrison in a press release. “It’s a testament to passion and an honest love for making music as well as having a strong independent team.” The Prince of Darkness is also thrilled about the song’s success. “I’m overjoyed that ‘Crack Cocaine’ is number one at rock radio. And, of course, I’m even happier for my friend Billy Morrison,” said Ozzy. (Consequence of Sound)
