In a new Rolling Stone interview, Bruce Springsteen reveals that he has finished recording a new solo album. “I would imagine it will come out in ’26 sometime,” Springsteen says of the project. He also revealed that a third volume of the Tracks box set series is completed and ready for release. “That’s something that I’ve finished and is ready to be released,” Springsteen says of Tracks III. “It’s just a question of when we have time to put that out. But you won’t be waiting 25 years for the next Tracks album. I suppose it’ll come out in the next three years or so.” Additionally, Springsteen confirmed the existence of a full-band, electric version of his beloved solo acoustic album, Nebraska, despite insisting it didn’t exist in recent interviews. Springsteen recently texted Rolling Stone’s Andy Greene with this revelation: “Just wanted to give you a heads up. I checked our vault and there IS an electric Nebraska record, though it does not have the full album of songs.” Springsteen did not say which Nebraska songs were recorded, nor whether the collection would ever get a proper release.
