Limp Bizkit are currently in the studio recording together again making the follow-up to their 2021 album, Still Sucks. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst shared an update on the band’s daily activities in his Instagram story, where he captured John Otto tracking drums for the new material. “Oh s**t, in the studio with John Otto … we ’bout to lay it down with those drumsticks dawg,” said Durst in the clip. “Let’s get that funky funky. Let’s get that Limp Bizkit popping off.” No new music is heard in the brief clip, though in the second story Otto is playing a tight beat that Durst captioned, “HUMAN DRUM MACHINE.” Limp Bizkit have a busy 2025 schedule ahead of them, playing a series of European/UK dates as well as supporting Metallica on their North American M72 Tour, so they are trying to squeeze in some studio time before hitting the road next year.
