Pearl Jam is still making history after 33 years as a band. The grunge legends just scored their first ever consecutive No. 1 singles on the Mainstream Rock Airplay chart, with current No. 1 single “Wreckage” now joining their previous chart-topper, “Dark Matter.” This also marks the very first time that Pearl Jam have notched two Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1 singles from the same album, as both tunes come from their recent record, Dark Matter. This is now five total singles in the celebrated career of the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers that have reached No. 1 on the Mainstream Rock Airplay charts, with the two new songs joining their previous No.1’s,  “Daughter” in 1993, “Better Man” in 1995, and “Given To Fly” in 1998.
