Following last month’s cancellation of additional European tour dates due to Josh Homme‘s emergency surgery, Queens of the Stone Age have now removed all their remaining 2024 tour dates from their concert schedule in order to let Homme prioritize his health and continue to receive necessary medical care. The band made the announcement with a post on X on Friday (August 23) where they wrote: “QOTSA regret to announce the cancellation and/or postponement of all remaining 2024 shows. Josh has been given no choice but to prioritize his health and to receive essential medical care through the remainder of the year. Josh and the QOTSA family are so thankful for your support and the time we were able to spend together over the last year. Hope to see you all again in 2025.” QOTSA have postponed their scheduled  performances in Boston, Cincinnati, Chicago, and Madison until 2025, with those headlining shows initially billed with opening act, the Kills. No word yet on whether the Kills will be included in those rescheduled shows next year. (Variety)
