The groundbreaking album originally peaked at No. 10 in 1966, and is one of 13 Top 10 albums for the group. Sounds of Summer: The Very Best of The Beach Boys, released in 2003, vaulted 128 spots to reach No. 52. Streams of the group’s songs increased by 126%, with their collected tracks selling 19,000 units and experiencing a significant increase in digital song sales, specifically for “God Only Knows,” which debuted at No. 7 on the Digital Song Sales chart, and “Wouldn’t It Be Nice,” the group’s most-streamed song of the week (2.28 million; up 78%), which debuted at No. 18 on Digital Song Sales.
