In a new interview with Closer, Dolly Parton sent out an invitation to members of the Royal Family to come visit her at Dollywood. Parton had a missed connection with the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, last year, and she wants Kate and her kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, to spend time with her at her Tennessee amusement park. In August of 2023, Parton declined Princess Kate’s invitation to tea because of her busy touring schedule in the U.K. promoting her album, Rockstar. But now Parton wants them to finally get together. “Oh, I would absolutely love for them to come to Dollywood, that would be fantastic!” Parton said. “The kids could go on all the rides and we would treat them like royalty! I’d give Kate my mashed potatoes — I wouldn’t put on any airs for them. I would just let them enjoy what we enjoy, and I’m sure that’s the way they would want it.” (People)
