After Dwight Yoakam and Post Malone were recently spotted on horseback riding along Hollywood’s Sunset Strip while filming a music video at the end of August, their mysterious musical collaboration has finally been revealed. On Friday (September 6), Yoakam shared his new song featuring Posty, “I Don’t Know How To Say Goodbye (Bang Bang Boom Boom).” The collaboration between the old and new generation of country stars is the lead single from Yoakam’s forthcoming album, Brighter Days, which is set for release on November 15. That marks the 67-year-old country legend’s first record of new material in nearly a decade, dating back to 2015’s Second Hand Heart. Yoakam and Malone are developing quite a creative relationship as of late, with Post making a surprise appearance during Yoakam’s recent performance at Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre back in July, with the duo performing a pair of Yoakam’s country classics, “Guitars & Cadillacs” and “Fast as You.” (Holler)
