Ingrid Andress Was Drunk During National Anthem, Checking Into Rehab

Ingrid Andress received online criticism following her pitchy performance of “The Star Spangled Banner” during Monday’s Home Run Derby at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. The 32-year-old country star has now admitted that she was drunk during her performance, and is going to check herself into rehab. Andress shared the news in a candid Instagram post, where she wrote: “I’m not gonna bulls**t y’all, I was drunk last night. I’m checking myself into a facility today to get the help I need. That was not me last night. I apologize to MLB, all the fans, and this country I love so much for that rendition. I’ll let y’all know how rehab is I hear it’s super fun. xo, Ingrid”

Andress has already received support from fellow country stars Little Big Town, Maren Morris, Carly Pearce, Hillary Scott, and Julia Michaels. Andress has canceled her two upcoming shows at Row One in Nashville on Wednesday, July 17th, and at Globe Hall in Denver on Wednesday, July 24th. (Entertainment Tonight)
