Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is spending a seventh nonconsecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Shaboozey’s first No. 1 hit of his career now becomes the single with the longest chart-topping reign in 2024. It surpasses the six nonconsecutive weeks at No. 1 for Post Malone’s “I Had Some Help” featuring Morgan Wallen. “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is also spending its 11th week at No. 1 on the Hot Country Songs chart, topping Beyoncé’s 10 week chart-topping run for “Texas Hold ‘Em” earlier this year. Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars’ new collaborative single, “Die With a Smile,” debuts at No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, marking the 19th Top 10 hit for Mars and the 18th for Gaga. Rounding out the Top 5 of this week’s Billboard Hot 100 are Malone and Wallen’s “I Had Some Help,” remaining at No. 2, Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” dropping a spot to No. 4, and Billie Eilish’s “Birds of a Feather” staying put at No. 5.
