The 58-year-old country music star shared a photo of the momentous occasion on Instagram, where his two girls, Carolyn, 29, and Daniella, 23, are both beaming alongside their proud father. Rucker had nothing but praise for Swift’s performance, captioning the post, “Took my girls to see the legend. What an amazing show @taylorswift!!!!” It turns out Rucker has a long history with Swift, revealing in a recent Newsweek interview that he saw Swift perform with Brad Paisley back in 2007 when she was “just a baby.” “I told her, ‘You’re gonna be a superstar,"” Rucker said. “It was just obvious.” The Hootie & the Blowfish frontman went on to praise the star that Swift has indeed become, “She’s doing it the right way.
