The world of music and golf will combine when Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods open a sports bar together in the birthplace of golf, St. Andrews, Scotland. The pop star and golf legend have just been granted permission to proceed with plans to transform an old movie theater in the town into a luxury sports bar called T-Squared Social. Timberlake and Woods both own shares in the real estate company, Nexus Luxury Collection, which will transform the theater into a new venue that plans to offer “sports simulators, duckpin bowling, and darts, while retaining two cinema screens.” Woods said that the idea for the sports bar came to him and Timberlake while they were playing golf together at their other development in the Bahamas. Woods has a celebrated history with St. Andrews, having won the Open Championship at the Old Course there in both 2000 and 2005. (Consequence of Sound)
