During a private performance for fans at the Chateau Marmont on Tuesday (May 27), Miley Cyrus hinted at her future musical direction while treating the audience to intimate performances from her forthcoming album, Something Beautiful, due out Friday (May 30). “My next album is about to be extremely experimental, so have fun with that,” the Grammy-winning singer announced to the small crowd. Cyrus was joined by pianist Michal Pollack, drummer Maxx Morando, and guitarist Jonathan Radowhile during her 45-minute set, which featured new tracks, “More to Lose,” “End of the World,” and “Easy Lover,” along with renditions of “The Climb,” from her 2009 film Hannah Montana: The Movie, and her Record of the Year-winning hit, “Flowers.” Ahead of her album release, Cyrus is currently promoting her new single “Easy Lover” with a series of behind-the-scenes clips on her Instagram Story, which showcases her dance choreography rehearsal and costume fittings.
