The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is coming to Enid on Saturday, Oct. 26 in downtown Enid.

The event begins at 9:15 a.m. at the Garfield Courthouse Lawn with a ceremony taking place at 10 a.m. and the walk taking place soon after.

The Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for the research of Alzheimer’s and the support of its victims. Since 1989, the Alzheimer’s Association has mobilized millions of Americans in the fight to end Alzheimer’s.

The walks are always free for registration/attendance and all participants are encouraged to raise critical funds that allow the association to support research in finding a cure for Alzheimer’s. The goal this year is to raise $45,000 and over 80 participants and 20 teams have signed up for this year’s walk.

Registration can be found here.

Mix 95.7 will be broadcasting LIVE from the event, giving updates and showing its support for Alzheimer’s research. The remote will be from 9-11 a.m., so be sure to stop by and say hi!
