Oklahoma Highway Patrol has reported an accident that occurred in Woodward County near Mutual late on Monday night that has left one man dead.
James William Cole, 84, of Seiling was attempting to pull out a tree limb when one of the left tires of his 2016 Polaris Sportsman slipped off the creek bank. This caused Cole to fall out of the vehicle and strike his head on the ground.
The cause of the accident and Cole’s condition at the time are still under investigation.
