The City of Enid will be hosting a tree planting ceremony as a part of their Arbor Day Community Event in Brookside Park on Friday, April 25.
The Enid Tree Board holds this event on an annual basis, hoping to instill a love for nature within those in attendance.

“We encourage everyone to take time to appreciate and enjoy the beauty and benefits of trees,” said city staff member Mandi O’Dea. “As an old Chinese proverb wisely states, ‘The best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now."”
