The Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center is launching a new series called “Vintage Kids,” designed for families with children ages 12 and under.
This Museum After Dark program aims to explore historical playtime activities, offering an interactive experience that delves into how children have engaged in play across different eras.
The inaugural event is set for Friday, March 21, from 6-8 p.m.; families are invited to participate in Depression-Era fun with hands-on activities like play dough, rag dolls and decorating wooden blocks. Enjoy a live radio show from 7:30 to 8:00 p.m. Period attire is encouraged for an immersive experience, but not mandatory.
Pre-registration for “Vintage Kids” is required, with a fee of $10 per child, while parents and guardians can attend for free.
