The City of Enid has announced its 2nd Annual Earth Day Celebration, an environmental awareness event to aid residents in disposing of harmful items.

The event is slated for May 3 at Crosslin Park from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring hazardous materials and the city will dispose of them safely and responsibly.

Materials include: old paints and solvents, batteries, cleaning products, and pesticides. If you feel like you can’t simply throw it away, bring it, and the city will assist you.

Neglected materials may threaten your health, the well-being of others, and the environment. Proper disposal can help safeguard individuals and the surrounding ecosystem.
