Three suspects allegedly involved in an Enid murder case in 2024 are set to go to court this week.

Two of the suspects will face preliminary hearings on Monday, while a third is scheduled for Tuesday. Prosecutors have said the third suspect may enter a plea deal.

Heaven Jordan along with two others were arrested in August 2024 after the remains of Colby Sheppard, 27, were found in an abandoned Enid home. Investigators reported that Jordan was the one that allegedly lured Sheppard to the home, where the other two suspects were waiting.

The Enid Police Department claimed the killing was motivated by the disappearance of Sheppard’s girlfriend, Kendra Battelo, who has been missing since 2022. There is currently no reported evidence linking Sheppard to Battelo’s disappearance.
