Enid Public Schools announced on Tuesday that Dr. Shannon Crowley has been hired as the new principal of Eisenhower Elementary.
Crowley, who currently serves as the Secondary Curriculum Director for the school district, will assume her new role on Tuesday, July 1. One of Crowley’s major responsibilities will be working alongside Vance Air Force Base on the planning for the new Eisenhower Elementary building.
“We are extremely excited to have Dr. Crowley as the next principal at Eisenhower Elementary,” said Enid superintendent Dr. Dudley Darrow. “Dr. Crowley has been an excellent employee at EPS for many years now, and has the perfect skill set to lead Eisenhower Elementary moving forward.”
Crowley began her career in education in 2002, serving as a reading teacher in Tennessee. Crowley would serve in many different roles across the country as she travelled with her career military husband, Jayson, eventually being hired at Enid High School as an assistant principal.
“I am truly honored to have the opportunity to serve as the principal of Eisenhower Elementary School,” said Crowley. “I am excited to work with the teachers, students, and parents/guardians of the Eisenhower community to create a positive and engaging environment where our students are encouraged to achieve success.”
