As a part of the NJCAA Division 2 World Series Opening Ceremony, the Enid Fire Department defeated the Enid Police Department 3-2 in the closest ever KNID Guns N Hoses Softball Game. KNID Guns N Hoses is a softball game at David Allen Memorial Ballpark, where the Enid Fire Department takes on the Enid Police Department in a softball game played for charity and the KNID Cup at David Allen Memorial Ballpark.
The Enid Fire Department trailed most of the way with the Police Department leading in the top of the 7th inning. The EFD was able to pull ahead and hold the lead in the bottom of the 7th to win their 4th straight KNID Cup.
