The Enid Public School Foundation will acknowledge aspiring educators through the annual Teachers of Tomorrow ceremony.

Teachers of Tomorrow is a program that recognizes senior students planning to study and pursue education as a career after graduation. It will be celebrated during the Education Celebration event on March 12 at 5 p.m. at Enid Public Schools.

Janna Jackson, Director of the EPS Foundation, emphasized the importance of attracting top talent to classrooms.

“Now more than ever we need the best and brightest in our classrooms. It makes us proud to know that these future teachers realized their love for education in EPS classrooms. We hope to welcome them back someday as an educator for EPS.”

Students Jacob Hassler, Gracie Hitt, Wade Mangrum, Sage Haffner, Myra Smart, and Emma Sweeten will be recognized for their future contributions to teaching; additionally, the Education Celebration will feature the announcement of the District Rookie, Support Professional, and Teacher of the Year.
