The Enid Public School District is working with the Oklahoma State School Boards Association (OSSBA) and the K20 Center for Education Community Renewal to enable a new planning process to assist students better.
The planning process is called the Continuous Strategic Improvement (CSI) and has been used by other school districts throughout Oklahoma. The operation will allow EPS to build on its own foundation to improve its services for students.
The Superintendent of Enid Public Schools, Dr. Dudley Darrow, talked about the importance of this new plan.
“Education is truly a community effort and through a five-year strategic plan we can come together to better serve the students of Enid Public Schools,” Darrow said. “We look forward to working with our families and community members in planning our district’s future.”
The EPS district will host a community forum and take an in-depth look into student achievement data to help aid in future decisions. The district will also complete a school climate survey through Oct. 17 to identify opportunities for improvement.
