70-year-old Hubert Bob Savell was killed in a collision on US-81 in Kingfisher County.
According to the crash report, Savell was leaving Kingfisher Regional Hospital Dr. when he did not yield to the stop sign and caused another driver to collide with him. Savell’s vehicle was struck in the driver’s door, coming to rest in the center median. Savell was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the other vehicle was transported to Mercy Hospital in Kingfisher for internal trunk injuries. They were later treated and released.
The conditions of both drivers seemed to be normal, with no signs of impaired driving.
The crash was investigated by Trooper Jeff Jech #620 of the Kingfisher County Detachment of Troop J. and assisted by Lieutenant Seth Wallace #111, Trooper Trent Cagle #380, Kingfisher Police Department, Kingfisher County Sheriff’s Office, and the Kingfisher Fire Department.
