On Monday, Aug. 26, the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office ICAC Division (Internet Crimes Against Children) tracked down and arrested 29-year-old Jonathan Diver for downloading and possessing child pornography.
The investigation began on Aug. 15 when the ICAC received information from the OKC Police Dept. about an individual downloading and obtaining child pornography from the internet. Garfield County Investigator Harber identified the suspect’s address in Covington and obtained a search warrant.
GCSO deputies served the warrant on Aug. 26 and found Johnathan Diver. Cole Harber investigated Diver in which he confessed to downloading and possessing child pornography.
Deputies seized his electronic devices from the home which included multiple disturbing images.
Diver was arrested and taken to the Garfield County Detention Facility and booked in on multiple charges of possession of child pornography.
